LRSG has been asked frequently what can be done to support refugees from the conflict in Ukraine. In a fast-changing situation we will try hard to ensure that this website gives you the latest news on how to help with the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. Our advice to support refugees from Ukraine most effectively is to please donate money to one of the established charities working directly with refugees in Central Europe. Our charity has donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee https://www.dec.org.uk
If you would like to join us and help with the work, or to donate to our charity which has been working for the past five years with refugee groups and individual refugees, please contact us via e-mail: info@lrsg.org.uk
Aid Collections
We have in the past regularly sent aid to refugees stranded in Europe through the charity ‘Open Hearts Open Borders’. Sadly, due to current customs issues with the continent, it has proved too difficult to continue. LRSG will however continue to give financial support whenever possible.
